Bromo

Fantastic experience with this agency! We visited the Tumpak Sewu waterfalls and were also supposed to visit Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen.
Our guide was absolutely wonderful, very friendly, as was the driver, and a special mention to our two guides at the waterfalls who were hilarious. We were in a small group, which was really nice, and the area wasn't crowded with tourists either. The waterfalls are simply magnificent and so impressive!
Unfortunately, due to the fires, we couldn't visit Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen, but the agency was very responsive and accommodating. They refunded us for the activities we couldn't do without any problems or fees.
A reliable agency, very responsive both on WhatsApp and by phone, and with whom we had a great time. I recommend them 100%! 🙂

I did the 3D2N Tumpak Sewu Bromo Ijen tour with them as a solo traveller, was worth it 100%. I didn't join any tour > 10 years ago but these places you kinda need it for safety and efficency. They were trustworthy and communicative during the booking process (I booked on their website n then chat via Whatsapp) prior to the trip despite the chaotic wildfire event. During the trip, our tour leader, Rieke, was super professional, reliable and very friendly at the same time. She was like my sis in the tour. The accommodations and services provided are better than what I normally needed or expected. My tour members were also nice. I'm so glad I ended up in this tour group. Would really recommend Opsi travel 🤗❤️

I booked 2d1n tour from Surabaya as part of partnership with Indoaddict, you can find this tour in GetYourGuide or their official website. Everything was well organized, even when I was switching drivers and guides all of it was well communicated. Both Dyla and Luu were fantastic guides, although some foreign men need to learn how to behave well and not harass them. I brought my own winter jacket but some people also ended up renting or buying warm gear at Bromo or Ijen. Given general reviews of people getting lost I was really worried before this tour, but both guides and local guides never left people behind and ensured everyone is safe. When we were allowed to free roam, there was always a meeting point announced and a time limit on when to come back.

I found the 3 day Tumpak Sewu, Mt. Bromo and Mt. Ijen tour incredible. It was the highlight of my entire Indonesia trip. Will and Dila were the sweetest and took great care of us throughout the trip. Will also took us to a less crowded viewpoint of Bromo, with better views than the standard location. We ate delicious food and stayed at very comfortable hotels. I could not have imagined the trip to be any better than this.

Our 3D2N trip was very well organised, hotels were really better than I expected, each had private room with AC and bathroom, one hotel even had a large pool. All transfers went smoothly despite high traffic. Our tour guides - Nuu, Hendra and Apul made the trip very memorable, took us amazing pictures, were very fun and friendly. Ijen and Tumpak Sewu were the most beautiful places I've been to. I think they currently have the best offer for the price if you book directly through their website.

We had a great time on our tour to Mount Bromo. Unfortunately, we didn’t get lucky with the weather this time, but regardless, we would absolutely recommend this tour!
The team was great throughout.
A special shoutout to Gar and Irma, who were our guides for the day. Gar was so friendly and did a great job keeping the group’s spirits up despite the bad weather, his energy really helped make the experience enjoyable.
Irma was also fantastic. She was kind, attentive, and always checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable and okay. Her thoughtful approach and positive attitude really added to the day. We especially appreciated the local recommendations she shared with us afterward.

We did the one-day tour to Mount Bromo today. Despite the bad weather, the tour was a lot of fun. Our tour guides, Tegar and Amin, were super friendly and funny and spoke excellent English. I definitely recommend it! 👍🏼

We booked the 3D/ 2N Tour from Surabaya to Madakaripura , Mount Bromo and Ijen with Opsi Travel. Everything was very well organized . Our guides Yuli and Nuu were so nice and attentive - they took care of everything. The communication worked very well.
Madakaripura was spectacular - standing under the waterfall felt fantastic. Our local guide was very patient and took beautiful pictures from us . Please bring shoes that can get wet - but no flip flops or hiking boots, because you walk through the river.
Sunrise at Mount Bromo was also interesting- also the atmosphere around.
For the hike to Ijen we had to get up at midnight , but it was absolutely worth it . The blue fire wasn't there that night - but this light blue sulfur lake was so beautiful to see - we will never forget this view. Ipul, our local guide for Ijen, was very funny which made the hike a bit easier 🙂 . The tour was very informative.
Both hotels were fine - better than we expected- clean and very nice staff.
The fried bananas we received for breakfast at the café at Ijen were the best we had in Indonesia .
Our guides Yuli and Nuu helped us with everything and at the end organized the ferry to Bali and the driver to Ubud. The
Tour is unforgettable and highly recommended - a highlight of our entire trip. Thanks so much to the whole team!

A special thanks to the team for going above and beyond—the person I communicated with on WhatsApp was extremely helpful and even assisted me with a private medical matter, which I truly appreciated.
Our guide, Nuu, was amazing! She had such a great vibe throughout the whole trip and made everything fun. Our driver, Pepen, was also super kind and made us feel safe on the road. The accommodations were excellent and exceeded our expectations.

We did a 3 days, 2 nights tour to Bromo Volcano, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, and Ijen (Kawah Ijen) Volcano, and we were absolutely thrilled. This was truly one of the best experiences of our lives.
The entire trip was incredibly intense, adventurous, and unforgettable. We climbed volcanoes, enjoyed an amazing early-morning jeep ride, watched a breathtaking sunrise, and even saw volcanic activity. One of the biggest highlights was the night hike to the sulfur lake at Ijen, which felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also visited Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, one of the most powerful and beautiful waterfalls we have ever seen in Indonesia.
Our driver, Jovan, was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, professional, and very attentive to our needs. He fulfilled every request, stopped wherever we wanted, and always knew when we needed rest and sleep in the car and when we felt like talking. He truly took great care of us throughout the journey.
We would also like to mention Ersya, who was the person we communicated with via WhatsApp. She provided excellent customer service, she was extremely helpful, explained everything in detail, answered all our questions, and clearly described how the tour works, including all costs. She also gave us flexibility, for example allowing us to arrange our own accommodation if we wanted. Communication with her was smooth, friendly, and very professional.
We chose a private tour for two people, which made the experience even more comfortable and personal. Everything was well organized and conducted in English.
We are more than satisfied and can highly recommend this travel option to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in Indonesia. Thank you for an amazing experience!

We did the 3N2D Tumpuk Sewu, Bromo and Ijen tour 🌋 It was the highlight of our 6 weeks trip through South East Asia. It's a very full-on tour, but 100% worth the lack of sleep. The organisation was fantastic and the price is very fair. Every guide involved was incredibly friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to our amazing driver Dilla. He drove us around safely for 3 days and kept us well informed, and even saw us off at the ferry to Bali. The company also offers a transport service in Bali, with smooth pickups directly from Gilimanuk ferry port. I couldn't recommend the tour highly enough. It's a must-do when you're in East Java.

We did the 2n3d tour to Tumpak Sewu, Bromo and Ijen and it was honestly the highlight of our 5 week Indonesia trip. The nature you see is absolutely incredible and the trip itself is well organized - but you have to be ok with little sleep and some not so great meals on the go 😅 Our guide Wildan and driver Lutfi were super friendly and helpful. Do yourselves a favor and book this trip 🩷

EXCELLENT!! It was really well organized, the driver is a real pilot, the hotels are very good and the activities really well organized. It seems too early but in fact NO!! It's exactly the right time every time to avoid the crowds of tourists. The casade is very nice, Bromo is magnificent but wrap up well and Ijen is incredible. I approve, thank you very much!!!

I just finished the Bromo/Ijen-Tour yesterday and i am absolutely happy about how great this tour was! All the Drivers, Guides and Hotel Staff involved in this Tour were super nice and everything was absolutely well organized, including my Transfer to Munduk at the End of the Tour yesterday. 5 out of 5 Stars well deserved! Everybody should be aware that you won't get much sleep for two Nights and it can be exhausting at times, but it's totally worth it!

We had a fantastic team looking after us for the majority of our holiday in Jawa (Java). The helpful Erysa in the office who went ‘the extra mile’, as we say, to arrange all the places we needed to see and the accommodation in East Java; the train tickets from Yogyakarta to Bandung and the Whoosh from Bandung to Jakarta.
Not forgetting, of course, our wonderful and kind driving team taking us here there and everywhere and arranging the entrance tickets for the wonderful places we visited.

What an incredible tour (3N2D to Tumpuk Sewu, Bromo and Ijen), very full on and tiring but totally worth the lack of sleep!
Day 1
Collected from hotel in Malang by friendly and professional driver Yono and taken to the waterfall. You will get absolutely soaked doing this walk from the spray at the bottom so dress accordingly and have a spare change of clothes. You can rent rubber shoes for 20k which I would definitely recommend as a lot of the walk in fully submerged in rivers and deep puddles of water and flip flops wouldn't give enough grip. The walk down is pretty steep and slippery but manageable. You also visit the caves and other waterfalls on the way back up. Our guide Sopi was a great photographer and a great guide.
Day 2
The hotels on this trip were very nice and good quality as was the restaurants we stopped at, only breakfast included, lunch and dinner as your own expense. A ridiculously early start to beat the traffic, not a lot of hiking as the Jeeps take you most of the way up, dress warm as a lot of waiting around for sunrise. Our guide Nour was really friendly and kept morale high during the long wait. We also had a hot drink and Pisang(fried banana). Then we were jeeped to the crater and got to hike up to the edge and look Into it! Not too crazy a walk, quite manageable. Then onto the hotel closer to Ijen and we could sleep from 4pm-10pm.
Day 3
An even ridiculously early start, at 11pm the same day to drive to Ijen for a 2am start as that's when the park opens. A breakfast in a box provided by the hotel. This bit of the tour was an actual hiking day. I'd recommend hiring the hiking poles for 25k per pole. It's a decently steep climb up to the crater edge and then a decent climb down into it to see the sulphur blue flames. Quite slippy and screey. The early start is essential as it gets so busy so better to get down before the crowds. Our guide Fifi was a superstar, got us up and down safely picking a good route, going at a steady pace and kept checking that everyone was together and doing well. Then he took us to a great sunrise spot away from the crowds and so beautiful!
Our other driver Kiki was brilliant and got us quickly between stops and kept us well informed of the program and then at the end saw us off on the ferry to Bali.

I did the 3D2N tour to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, Mount Bromo, and Ijen – and it was an incredible experience! The guides were all super friendly and did their absolute best to make the trip enjoyable. Be prepared for little sleep, quick meals, and some pretty intense hikes – but it’s 100% worth it for the amazing views and unforgettable moments. Highly recommended for adventurous travelers!
