Kawah Ijen

Bromo

Madakaripura sangat spektakuler - berdiri di bawah air terjun terasa fantastis. Pemandu lokal kami sangat sabar dan mengambil foto-foto indah kami. Harap bawa sepatu yang bisa basah - tetapi jangan pakai sandal jepit atau sepatu hiking, karena Anda akan berjalan melewati sungai.
Matahari terbit di Gunung Bromo juga menarik - begitu pula suasana di sekitarnya.
Untuk pendakian ke Ijen, kami harus bangun tengah malam, tetapi itu benar-benar sepadan. Api biru tidak ada di sana malam itu - tetapi danau belerang biru muda ini sangat indah untuk dilihat - kami tidak akan pernah melupakan pemandangan ini. Ipul, pemandu lokal kami untuk Ijen, sangat lucu yang membuat pendakian sedikit lebih mudah 🙂 . Tur ini sangat informatif.
Kedua hotel bagus - lebih baik dari yang kami harapkan - bersih dan stafnya sangat ramah.

Kami mendaki gunung berapi, menikmati perjalanan jeep pagi yang menakjubkan, menyaksikan matahari terbit yang memukau, dan bahkan melihat aktivitas vulkanik. Salah satu sorotan terbesar adalah pendakian malam ke danau belerang di Ijen, yang terasa seperti pengalaman sekali seumur hidup. Kami juga mengunjungi Air Terjun Tumpak Sewu, salah satu air terjun paling dahsyat dan indah yang pernah kami lihat di Indonesia.
Pengemudi kami, Jovan, benar-benar fantastis. Dia ramah, profesional, dan sangat memperhatikan kebutuhan kami. Dia memenuhi setiap permintaan, berhenti di mana pun kami inginkan, dan selalu tahu kapan kami perlu istirahat dan tidur di dalam mobil dan kapan kami ingin mengobrol. Dia benar-benar merawat kami dengan baik sepanjang perjalanan.

Day 1
Collected from hotel in Malang by friendly and professional driver Yono and taken to the waterfall. You will get absolutely soaked doing this walk from the spray at the bottom so dress accordingly and have a spare change of clothes. You can rent rubber shoes for 20k which I would definitely recommend as a lot of the walk in fully submerged in rivers and deep puddles of water and flip flops wouldn't give enough grip. The walk down is pretty steep and slippery but manageable. You also visit the caves and other waterfalls on the way back up. Our guide Sopi was a great photographer and a great guide.
Day 2
The hotels on this trip were very nice and good quality as was the restaurants we stopped at, only breakfast included, lunch and dinner as your own expense. A ridiculously early start to beat the traffic, not a lot of hiking as the Jeeps take you most of the way up, dress warm as a lot of waiting around for sunrise. Our guide Nour was really friendly and kept morale high during the long wait. We also had a hot drink and Pisang(fried banana). Then we were jeeped to the crater and got to hike up to the edge and look Into it! Not too crazy a walk, quite manageable. Then onto the hotel closer to Ijen and we could sleep from 4pm-10pm.
Day 3
An even ridiculously early start, at 11pm the same day to drive to Ijen for a 2am start as that's when the park opens. A breakfast in a box provided by the hotel. This bit of the tour was an actual hiking day. I'd recommend hiring the hiking poles for 25k per pole. It's a decently steep climb up to the crater edge and then a decent climb down into it to see the sulphur blue flames. Quite slippy and screey. The early start is essential as it gets so busy so better to get down before the crowds. Our guide Fifi was a superstar, got us up and down safely picking a good route, going at a steady pace and kept checking that everyone was together and doing well. Then he took us to a great sunrise spot away from the crowds and so beautiful!
Our other driver Kiki was brilliant and got us quickly between stops and kept us well informed of the program and then at the end saw us off on the ferry to Bali.
